I had the ability to speak about invention lately to an organization in a school. Apple, the penultimate inventor (tic) is an engineering agency but doesn't innovate around technology - more around user-experience, linkages and relationships and information. As much as it might discomfort my engineering friends to say it, there's a large amount of development occurring that has little or nothing regarding technology.

Technology innovation is just a subset of innovation usually, and all innovation is not technology innovation while all engineering innovation is innovation. A number are of firms that innovate around research and technology, and so I don't need to minimize the importance of technology in development.

Apple, the penultimate innovator (tic) can be a technology corporation but does not innovate around engineering - more around user-experience, linkages and relationships and content. Up to it may discomfort my executive friends to say it, there's a lot of advancement occurring that's nothing or little regarding engineering.
